randomness of february and march

Not too much going on in the Black Hills at the moment.  Snow and cold keep most people indoors.  Lack of tourists keep most businesses and "fun" places to visit closed.  However, the hubby made March fun by involving himself in Mustache Madness.  He won 2nd place for the best Mustache.  Of course it had to be in military regulations which made it even more beautiful! I could not wait until his stache was gone! We did venture to Devil's Tower; however, I only have one picture on my computer.  I must get them back from Tyler.  It was incredible and creepy and surreal.  If I ever find the pics, I'll gladly post them.  Dr. Seuss day was a success with green and eggs and ham cookie snacks, Dr. Seuss poetry readings, and much more.  Oh, and I had snack day for the school...All Cajun food of course!!!  Sweet dough custard pies, Zapp's chips, pralines, and Tyler's NOLA styled gumbo!

Gammie, the best grandmother ever, used to help us make sprinkles and bananas.  I had some sprinkles left over from cookie treats for a class and had to make a sprinkled banana.
Poor Nola.  Tyler is always messing with her.  Here he pretends she is a baby...she pretends to enjoy it.

Pimped out dog!

Mustache March begins.  No thanks!

1.  Beaujo's Pizza is delicious.  2.  Tyler's mustache is not.
Snow, snow, snow.  Still amazed at it's beauty.

So ironic, right?

Don't you wish your hubby was as cool as mine?  I think this may have been the day before he finished the contest.  Either way, I had to put up with this handsome mustache for weeks and figured he would only love to have his pictures posted for the world to see.

A snowflake fluttered on my windshield!

Billie (and Nola) love drinking from the bathtub faucet.  Every time they hear the water run they come running.

 Dr. Seuss Day!!!!

Again, Nolie does anything for treats!

Leger's Custard Pies.

Devil's Tower.  Look how small I am compared to this gigantic "tower" of rock.
